Finance support sized to your budget
You shouldn't pay for a finance department you don't need yet. Beankeeper runs as your fractional finance department across four services, starting at $200 a month, so you can start with what fits your budget now and add support as you grow.
What each service costs
Bookkeeping
Your day-to-day transaction coding, recurring bank and credit card reconciliation, and basic financial reporting. You get an organized financial base for reporting, oversight, and coordination with the other professionals who rely on your numbers. Where you land depends on your transaction volume and how much work is involved.

You get everything in Bookkeeping, plus Controller oversight, accounts payable and receivable, day-to-day finance operations, and recurring reporting. Billing, collections, and reporting get clear ownership, so you and your team spend less time coordinating recurring finance work.

FP&A is a separate, forward-looking service: budgeting, forecasting, cash forecasting, managerial reporting, and board-deck support. It helps you see what may be ahead and make calls on hiring, spending, pricing, growth, and cash with more context.

A fractional CFO is a separate senior advisory support: short- and long-term financial strategy, financial modeling, cash planning, and guidance on the decisions that carry real weight. What you pay depends on the scope and how much advisory involvement you need.

Beankeeper sets each quote around the responsibilities and level of support the engagement requires.
Service scope
Your final price reflects the service or combination you use, the responsibilities we take on, and how much ongoing involvement the work needs.
Transaction volume
More transactions mean more recurring financial work.
Business complexity
More involved operations, reporting needs, or financial questions can call for broader scope.
Accounts and entities
More bank accounts, credit cards, or business entities add reconciliation, coordination, and reporting.
This is why the published prices are starting points. Beankeeper confirms your final scope and monthly price after reviewing how your finances are set up today.
Pricing questions, answered
What determines where I land in a service's range?
Your transaction volume, account and entity count, business complexity, and service scope. Beankeeper reviews the work already in place and the responsibilities its team will take on before confirming your monthly price.
Can I combine services, and how does that affect price?
Yes. Bookkeeping can stand alone, Controller includes Bookkeeping, and FP&A or Fractional CFO can run separately or alongside your other support when you need them. Beankeeper prices the responsibilities in the engagement you agree on.
Do I need to know which service I need before I book?
No. Beankeeper looks at how your finance works today, what needs coverage, and what you already have in place, then recommends the service or combination that fits.
Can Beankeeper work with an existing finance team?
Yes. Beankeeper can add capacity alongside your Head of Finance, CFO, bookkeeper, or other in-house finance staff, instead of assuming you need to replace your current team. How the responsibilities split depends on the service and the gaps you want covered.
How soon can we start after booking?
Once your scope is set and the engagement is signed, work begins at kickoff, usually within three business days. We coordinate access and credential handoff during onboarding
Do these prices include tax preparation?
No. Beankeeper does not prepare tax returns. When it makes sense, Beankeeper can refer you to an outside tax partner and keep your financial records organized for whoever files. Tax filings and technical tax advice stay with that provider.
